Pack Hikes

What

We take your dog(s) for a 30-45 minute off-leash group hike with up to 8 other client dogs.

Pick up & drop off at your home is included. Dogs may be with us for 45 mins to up to 3 hours depending on pick up and drop off locations for that day.

Where

Dogs located in Midland, Penetanguishene, and select areas in Tiny and Tay township are picked up and hiked at a Private trail located outside of Vasey.

When

Hikes run 5 days a week, Monday to Friday.

Morning hikes are picked up between 10am-11am and dropped off between 12pm-1pm.

Afternoon hikes are picked up between 12pm-1pm and dropped off between 2pm-3pm.

Dogs are placed in morning or afternoon hikes according to your location on our driving route and our daily dog attendance. Specific days available are determined based on your location and our space availability. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate everyone from every location every day.

How

Once approved to sign up, we will have you fill out our simple questionnaire and we will be in contact to set up a 15 minute meet & greet at your home where we will get to know you and your dog & where they live. After words we will book your dog in for their first hike.

Bookings are done at the beginning of each month, and an invoice will be created automatically and e-mailed out with payment options. You do not need to be home for hike times but access to the home needs to be granted via key or code.

Requirements

Age

Dogs must be 6 months or older. This is a high impact activity and pups should be developed enough to not damage their growth plates.

Behavior

Dogs must be friendly with strange humans, not timid or aggressive. We have to build a trust with your dog in a short period of time for them to go offleash. Dogs who do not trust strangers will not rely on us offleash if anything negative happens. aka loud noises, wildlife, basic recall.

Size

Dogs must be 20lbs or larger. We have a lot of large active dogs, small dogs can easily get hurt by accident in the scuffle of rambunctious pups.

Socialization

Dogs should not be overly aggressive to dogs around them but do not have to be playful. We run a balanced pack that allows for dogs who apricate their own space to be with dogs who respect space. Overly playful dogs often learn to respect space on our hikes.

Sex

Females must be spayed, or scheduled to be spayed. Males can be intact but must behave appropriately as to not cause other dogs to be unconformable via humping, guarding, etc.

Frequency

Due to the trust and training needed to run dogs offleash, we require all dogs to maintain a weekly attendance.
